Shockingly, 1 in 5 children go to bed hungry every night in California. During the holidays that statistic is drastically exacerbated while many parents struggle to supplement meals normally covered during traditional school hours.
Our goal is to distribute 5,000 bags of non-perishable food items to children before they go on their holiday break. Having consistent and convenient access to food helps ensure that children don’t need to worry about their next meal, which, in turn, makes for happier, healthier kids.
Take a gamble and together we can bridge the holiday hunger gap! Like last year, this event is guaranteed to sell out. Your $50 ticket will include $1,500 in poker chips, dinner & drink. First, second and third place winners will automatically win a prize! Participating patrons can purchase raffle tickets and throw their hats into the ring to win prizes as well. Purchase your tickets by October 19th and receive $500 extra chips.
Your $50 ticket purchase will help feed a child for 14 days over the winter school break.
