CCRC Partners with The Baby Box Co. to Distribute Free Baby Boxes and Education

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) has been chosen by The Baby Box Co. as one of a the Southern California baby box distributors. This new partnership is an opportunity for CCRC to provide parents with free products and parenting education from trusted experts to help destress the parenting journey.

Inspired by a Finnish tradition, the program is more than just a box – it’s an innovative education program that stresses the importance of safe sleep practices including: always lay a baby on his/her back,in a secure location and no bumper, blankets or stuffed animals in the sleep setting. The Baby Box Co. also provides information on a myriad of topics beyond safe sleep related to how to have a healthy pregnancy, breastfeeding guidance, postpartum depression awareness and resources, tips on boosting your baby’s brain development and much more

By completing the California course through Baby Box University, the company’s online educational platform, parents will receive a free parenting package which includes: online education from reputable, trusted educators, curated products and Baby Boxes.

Once parents complete the online course , they should contact CCRC to schedule their pick up. The box itself includes a firm foam mattress, reusable bag with wipes, Vroom tips, and quality care products. CCRC currently distributes baby boxes in Los Angeles San Bernardino Counties.

“It has been only a few months since CCRC became a distributor of baby boxes and, in this very short time frame, we have experienced quite a lot of interest from the community giving out just over 100 boxes so far. This is a great partnership because both of our organizations share the same vision to provide parents with the resources they need to raise healthy, safe and happy children,” says Susan Montalvo, CCRC’s Communications Director.
