Have fun and take home activity ideas with Kaleidoscope Play and Learn

Kaleidoscope Play and Learn is CCRC’s engaging early learning program for young children 0-5. The goal is to work with parents, caregivers, family, friends, neighbors and exempt providers to support them in preparing children for success in school and life through quality early childhood experiences.

CCRC’s Kaleidoscope facilitator plans a weekly curriculum based on a topic provided by the California Child Care Resource and Referral Network. Everyone sings songs and plays, and then she reads stories based on the week’s topic. An activity and snacks follow.

Caregivers go home with resources, information and activity ideas that they can implement at home with the children in their care — like how to make play dough or create recyclable art.
