   Become a Trauma Informed Child Care Provider
In our Trauma Informed Care (TIC) training, coaches work with you to understand and respond to the needs of children who have experienced various ranges of trauma. During these courses, you will learn effective strategies to better serve all adversely affected children, with a special focus on working with foster children. Through emotional regulation, maintaining predictable routines and utilizing effective management strategies, you will leave this training confident and more knowledgeable.
The following is the TIC training curriculum/program participants will receive:
 Orientation Meeting (1 hour)
 Module 1 – Early Brain Development: Understanding the Stress
Response, Regulatory and Sensory Systems. (3 hours) - Child Development & Learning
 Module 2 – Trauma Informed Care. (3 hours) - Child Development & Learning
 Module 3 – Using a Trauma-Informed Lens to Understand Behavior and Creating a
Supportive Caregiving Environment. (3 hours) - Relationships, Interaction & Guidance
 Module 4 – Responding to Foster Families and Children: Promoting the Protective Factors.
(3 hours) - Family and Community Engagement
 Module 5 – Creating a Supportive Work Environment through Reflection and Self-Care.
  (3 hours) - Professionalism

Check out our website www.ccrcca.org and click “UPCOMING EVENTS” and you will find details on how to register.

TIC trainings are offered in English/Spanish during the week and some Saturdays. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for each module and a “graduation” certificate upon completion of all five modules. When registering for the trainings, make sure to specify:
