Service Agreement Renewal Deadline
Child care providers should be reviewing the 2020-2025 Child Care Service Agreement (CCSA), which was sent out electronically to all CDE providers at the end of October.
Keep in mind that Child Care Resource Center requires all child care providers with children in CDE subsidized programs to renew their Child Care Service Agreement.
Providers can acknowledge and sign the new CCSA virtually through EchoSign, CCRC’s newest paperless system. Just click Review and Sign.
A copy of the signed document will be automatically emailed to providers.
Supporting Child Care Providers with Virtual Workshops
Choose a training from a series of virtual workshops that help support future and current licensed family child care providers. The trainings are provided in connection with the Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP), which aims to increase the quantity and quality of licensed child care providers.
Through the CCIP initiative, which was developed in 2007, providers statewide have received guidance that improves the training capacity of their staff, enhances their professional development, and extends their knowledge of early childhood education.
CCIP is currently working with local resource and referral programs such as CCRC to recruit, train, and retain licensed family child care providers through virtual cohorts. Child care providers and prospective providers are invited to participate in free workshops, learn about licensing requirements, receive technical support and mentoring, and network virtually with other child care providers. The network also provides train-the-trainers modules, collaborate with other agencies and nonprofits to provide specialized training on various topics, and produce resources for family child care providers.
