Child Care Providers, We Need You to Raise Your Voice!
Now more than ever, you have the opportunity to stand up for yourself, your family, and your community - from the comfort of your home - by participating in the 2020 Census and voting in the Presidential Election.
If you haven’t completed it – there’s still time!
It only takes 10 minutes to complete and it’s available in 13 languages. Remember, everyone living in your household should be counted - there is NO citizenship question.
More People = More Money
Children, low income families, people with disabilities are just some of the communities most often undercounted. We can’t let that happen again. Be Counted so that critical resources like child care, schools, hospitals, job services, and more are properly funded.
It’s safe, easy, and it’s required. To complete yours please visit my2020census.gov.
Your vote = Your voice at the local, state, and federal level
Make sure you’re registered. The California Secretary of State’s website offers a place to check your status or get registered. To vote in the Presidential Election, you must register by Monday, October 19th, 2020.
Voting is getting easier
Governor Gavin Newsom recently announced that every registered voter in California would receive a vote by mail ballot to help us exercise our right to vote safely. Tip: Verify your mailing address.
Additionally, The California Primary in March 2020 saw Los Angeles experience a new voting procedure that allowed you to vote over a period of 11 days instead of the traditional one among other benefits. Learn more about it at LA Vote today.
