Get the littles ones ready to work on some gross motor skills with Teacher Maria from our Head Start Department. She will teach us the letters of the alphabet through yoga poses. From A-Z, you and your little ones will have fun recreating the letters and exercising at the same time.
Afterwards, try spelling out the kids’ names!
We’re Making Ants on a Log
There’s nothing like a fun and healthy snack after a yoga session and our Head Start Health Educator, Marleni, shows us how we can make this easy and delicious snack filled with protein, fiber and other nutrients.
For this snack you’ll need: Celery, peanut butter and raisins (but we encourage you to get creative with different options).
Need a sweet dessert? Make it Banana Raspberry Smoothie Popsicles!
It’s summer! In addition to drinking lots of water, little ones can enjoy this healthy and sweet dessert.
You will need: Yogurt, bananas, raspberries or another fruit of your choice, and vanilla.
Chop them up and blend them together.
