             WHAT’S BETTER THAN BUBBLES?
   MORE AND BIGGER
       BUBBLES!
It’s almost guaranteed when you visit a park in the
summer you see kids chasing bubbles and having a great
time doing so! Kids are fascinated by bubbles. If you want
to know how to entertain kids in the summer, take them outside and give them bubbles to pop and chase! So simple but so much fun!
We found a great recipe to make big, not just big, but GIANT bubbles on HappyHooligans.com.
Here’s what you need:
INGREDIENTS:
• 6 cups water (distilled is best but tap water is fine) • 1/2 cup blue Dawn Original Dish Detergent
• 1/2 cup corn starch
• 1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda)
• 1 tbsp Glycerine
MAKE YOUR HOME MADE GIANT BUBBLES:
1. Dissolve the corn starch in water, stirring really well.
2. Gently stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Avoid creating a lot of froth.
4. Allow mixture to sit for at least an hour before playing with it.
5. You can stir very gently if you see ingredients settling on the bottom of your container. 6. Some powder may settle while you’re playing with it but it will be fine.
*Avoid creating froth when playing with the mixture.
*Overcast/humid conditions are best. Wind, dry air and sunlight will wick the moisture out of your bubbles.
