As an early childhood educator, you understand why high quality early learning matters. You recognize the importance of the first five years, and you are committed to making sure that the children in your program have the best early learning experiences possible.
Your success as an educator is critical to the well-being of our children, families, and communities. In order to recognize and support your commitment to providing a high quality early learning environment, early learning leaders and community partners in San Bernardino County have come together to develop a quality rating and improvement system, or QRIS, called Quality Start San Bernardino County.
What is Quality Start San Bernardino County?
Quality Start San Bernardino County is a program designed to help early care and education programs provide the highest quality early learning experiences possible. Quality Start San Bernardino County supports quality early learning by establishing standards that define what quality means and looks like for early care and education programs, and then rating programs using these standards.
As an educator, you will benefit greatly from participating in Quality Start San Bernardino County. Participation will provide you with quality improvement support, professional development opportunities, and access to a peer support network of early childhood educators who are committed to providing quality early learning. QRIS also connects parents with early childhood educators by making it easy for parents and caregivers to search for and find quality programs.
