Consortium-Specific Results: Outcome Targets and Scope of Work Performance Measures
This section reports on the LAUP required performance measures through the Gateways for Early Educators’ Scope of Work.
The following outcome statements as defined by the program’s funders, LAUP and First 5 LA in the program’s scope of work are also tracked:
Outcome 1: Expand the ECE Workforce.
Outcome 2: Develop a more qualified workforce.
Outcome 3: Promote high quality ECE practices and programs.
Outcome 4: Current and prospective members of the ECE workforce have access to and
participate in Consortium programs.
Outcome 5: Promote coordination and alignment of systems, including Consortium
programs.
Outcome 6: An ECE registry database is available and utilized by Consortium members
to collect ECE workforce data.
As seen in Table 22 the program was able to meet targets for overall number of providers served, number/length of sessions, and percent of participants achieving goals. However the program did not meet all of the formalized education-related targets, percent of participants setting goals within two months of enrollment, and retention rate of participants.
