HOUSING
In order to understand the resources and services needed by the parents they serve, the Head Start program was interested in learning of the factors that would improve families’ housing. Parents were asked what factors would make their housing better. Of 528 parents who answered this question, most (74.4%) indicated that more affordable housing would make their living condition better. Chart 24 presents the percentage of parents for each factor for better housing.
CHART 24: Percentage of parents for factors that contribute to better housing
A low percentage of parents (2.3%) indicated that other factors would make their housing better. Of the 12 parents who selected other, 10 parents wrote a response.

Thanks to this program, my daughter learned many things and is prepared to transition to Kinder. The attention that teachers give the children is great.
