The nine parents were from the following Head Start Centers:  Napa

Sepulveda was the center from which the greatest percentage of parents (33.3%) indicated that they disagreed with the statement, the Head Start staff kept me informed about my child’s overall progress and needs in the program. See Table 15 in the Appendix for more information by Head Start Center.
Parents least agreed with the statement, the Head Start staff encouraged me to participate in different activities in the Head Start program, including in my child's classroom. Of 369 English- speaking parents, 95.9% agreed with this statement. As for Spanish-speaking parents, of 504 parents, 96.6% agreed. Table 6 presents the difference in percentage between English and Spanish-Speaking parents for each statement about the Head Start staff.

Because of the Head Start Program...
Parents indicated whether they disagreed or agreed with statements related to how the Head Start Program has affected their child and their preparation in supporting their child’s education. Parents (98.6%) most agreed with the statement: I am prepared to help my child succeed in kindergarten through elementary school. Of the 365 English-speaking parents who provided a response, 99.7% indicated that they agreed with this statement, while of 507 Spanish-speaking parents 97.8% agreed.
