Figure 6: Miguel Montes: What can be done to improve the Head Start program?
Nothing at all. My child and I enjoyed every moment of the Head start program.
There are some great and attentive teachers. I don't think they can do anything to improve but if
they find something to improve that would be great.
Nothing, it's perfect the way it is.
Longer hours in class.
Nothing. I feel that everything is done well.
Everything is good.
There is always room for improvement. For example, in the area of communication, participate in
all activities, support us in other areas.
Should stay the same.
A small observation - I think it would be better to serve warm or hot meals.
Everything is great!
Continue to work the students in the way that you are with the yoga and activities you do.
Everything is great. Thank you!
A more academic curriculum, not just playtime, so they are truly prepared for kindergarten.
Create a welcoming environment so the parents will feel welcomed when they volunteer at the
school.
Everything is great just wish the teachers and directors were bilingual.
Support the teachers.
I think everything the teachers do is perfect.
Have projects that involve parents so that the children are more motivated.
The family meetings were very helpful.
More parents attending the meetings.
More opportunities for parents to participate in class.
More parent workshops. I learned a lot this year.
I really enjoyed the program as is.
More opportunities expressed to have parents feel welcomed to visit classroom.
