Please note: Attendees MUST speak Mandarin/Chinese fluently in order to attend and receive certification. Due to funding restrictions this training is only open to Northern Los Angeles County.
At this training you will gain knowledge about:
– Your responsibilities as a mandated reporter according to the law
– Identifying signs that may indicate possible child abuse or neglect
– Communicating with children regarding suspected abuse the process of making a report
– Understanding the subsequent steps after filing a report
– Special considerations related to child abuse reporting for child care providers
Upon successful completion of the 4-hour training, you will be awarded a certificate. This training aligns with the training requirements stipulated in the California Assembly Bill 1207.
