Parents! You are invited to join the conversation at our next Parent Café on Nurturing the Seed in Victorville.
This cafe is intended to support parents and caregivers in identifying and implementing their protective factors in their everyday lives to better themselves and their family.
At this café we will cover Strengthening Families 5 protective factors:
– Resiliency- Parental Resiliency/ Being strong and flexible
– Relationships- Social Connections/ Parents need friends
– Knowledge- Knowledge of Parenting & Child Development/ Parenting is part natural & part learned
– Support- Concrete Support in Times of Need/ Everybody needs help sometimes
– Communication- Social & Emotional Competence of Children/ Parents need to help their children communicate
