Male Engagement Cafés are intended to assist the male figure at home in their journey of becoming an active influence on their children development and growth. Join us as we open the door to authentic, engaging dialogue around a variety of father-focused topics, including societal expectations of men as parents, caregivers, being a positive male role model in the family unit, challenges and successes as expressed by fathers, co-parenting in the modern world, and much more!
At this session we will dive into conversations around:
– Resiliency- Parental Resiliency/ Being strong and flexible
– Relationships- Social Connections/ Parents need friends
– Knowledge- Knowledge of Parenting & Child Development/ Parenting is part natural & part learned
– Support- Concrete Support in Times of Need/ Everybody needs help sometimes
– Communication- Social & Emotional Competence of Children/ Parents need to help their children communicate
