Figure 11: Roscoe Canyon: What can be done to improve the Head Start program?
 Everything is perfect. I am very happy.
 I love it.
 I think the Head Start program is providing a great education to the students. My child has
learned a lot during the two years she has attended Roscoe Canyon.
 To have languages that I can understand
 If you have a big enough budget, I would like the children to eat organic foods (if possible).
 We are happy with everything.
 I think it's great. There's nothing I can think of.
 Maybe changing the dates and times so I can participate more often.
 More education in numbers and letters.
 Everything you do is perfect.
 Communicate in English more than any other language.
 I am happy with everything.
 Everything is fine, but I think that what is missing is more programs that help parents.
 Nothing. Thank you for your support and help toward our children.
 Don't change the staff in the classroom or the teachers unless they are not doing their job well.
 I think that focusing more on learning like the alphabet, numbers, colors, names and last names,
etc.
 We don't like that they don't celebrate holidays or birthdays.
 I would separate the four year olds and teach them things they need to know to be ready for
kindergarten and make the hours a little longer.
 Offer more parent meetings or educational meetings in the afternoon.
 Communicate with parents who do not speak Spanish.
 Continue doing a great job.
 Extend hours.
 Create a standard so that parents become involved in the education of their children so that they
will at least attend the meetings for parents.
 Everything has been fine during the time that we've been in the program.
