Figure 11: Roscoe Canyon: What can be done to improve the Head Start program?
Everything is perfect. I am very happy.
I love it.
I think the Head Start program is providing a great education to the students. My child has
learned a lot during the two years she has attended Roscoe Canyon.
To have languages that I can understand
If you have a big enough budget, I would like the children to eat organic foods (if possible).
We are happy with everything.
I think it's great. There's nothing I can think of.
Maybe changing the dates and times so I can participate more often.
More education in numbers and letters.
Everything you do is perfect.
Communicate in English more than any other language.
I am happy with everything.
Everything is fine, but I think that what is missing is more programs that help parents.
Nothing. Thank you for your support and help toward our children.
Don't change the staff in the classroom or the teachers unless they are not doing their job well.
I think that focusing more on learning like the alphabet, numbers, colors, names and last names,
etc.
We don't like that they don't celebrate holidays or birthdays.
I would separate the four year olds and teach them things they need to know to be ready for
kindergarten and make the hours a little longer.
Offer more parent meetings or educational meetings in the afternoon.
Communicate with parents who do not speak Spanish.
Continue doing a great job.
Extend hours.
Create a standard so that parents become involved in the education of their children so that they
will at least attend the meetings for parents.
Everything has been fine during the time that we've been in the program.
