Positive Discipline Strategies for Early Educators tackles the growing challenge of managing difficult behaviors in young children—such as aggression, tantrums, and self-injury—by shifting the focus from punishment to proactive, skill-building support. It opens with a compelling statistic: children identified as hard to manage at ages 3–4 have a 50:50 chance of continuing these difficulties into adolescence, underscoring the urgent need for early intervention.
