Pacific Premier Bank sponsors Poker Night fundraiser, supports local community

A number of the families who came through our Holiday Book and Toy Drive last year were looking for a way to bring their children cheer after a year of hardship that included the loss of employment and income, ability to see friends, or even a loved one taken by COVID-19. Community partners like Pacific Premier Bank understand how important the Child Care Resource Center holiday drives are to local families.

“Creating a positive impact in our communities is at the forefront of everything we do and we are inspired by how many children this donation will positively affect,” says Pacific Premier Bank Senior Vice President Arlet Hur. “We are proud of giving back to many families throughout the holiday season, and the work CCRC is committed to makes giving back on such a large scale so successful.”

Pacific Premier Bank’s generous decision to sponsor our upcoming Poker Tournament, a fundraiser that benefits the Holiday Book and Toy Drive, is just one of many ways the organization has stepped up to support CCRC’s mission. The bank, founded in 1983 and headquartered in Irvine, has donated to various CCRC events and fundraisers since 2017.

“Pacific Premier is proud of the long-standing partnership we’ve had with CCRC,” says Arlet. “Pacific Premier is committed to the communities in which we live and serve, which aligns with the mission of CCRC. CCRC’s current program offerings reinforce the idea of building strong communities by investing locally in individuals and businesses. We are honored to be contributing to Poker Night and the Holiday Book & Toy Drive that help so many families throughout the San Fernando Valley. “

Just last year, our annual holiday event gifted over 2,000 children with a book and toy to unwrap. For many children, the gifts received from our event are the only ones they will receive.

“The holiday season can be a joyous time for some, but a challenging time for others,” says Arlet. “It’s imperative for Pacific Premier to contribute to our communities, ensuring all families can create lasting memories, full of joy and inspiration and to continually improve how we interact with one another, our communities, and the world.”

Pacific Premier Bank is located in California but serves businesses and individuals throughout the U.S. as one of the strongest-performing and fastest-growing banks in the nation. The bank is committed both to providing unparalleled client service and partnering with community based organizations and other stakeholders to strengthen the community. We are grateful for their continued support.
