Dr. Michael Olenick who has led the agency as President & CEO for the past 22 years created the new position due to the growth of the agency and the internal and external demands on his time and attention. “Over the past five years, the growth of the agency has been incredible. We are supporting over 100,000 children and families monthly with an evolving array of critically needed services. Donna is the person we need to help navigate the future for our communities and staff to thrive,” Olenick said.
Sneeringer brings with her over 30 years of education, experience, and leadership in the early childhood field. Her most recent endeavors include leading statewide policy and advocacy efforts helping to strategically shape the landscape of early child care, education, and family well-being throughout California for generations to come. She has led the Office of Strategic Engagement that includes Communications, Government Relations, Research, and Statewide Systems Integration for the past several years and will now oversee the Office of Programs, Information Technology, Special Application Support & Reporting, and Business Operations. Sneeringer holds a master’s degree in public administration and graduate certificate in political management from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in child development from California State University, Northridge.

Each month, CCRC provides quality, support, development, and education opportunities to over 100,000 children, families, and providers across a 22,500-square-mile service area. CCRC now has over 1,400 professional staff members working from more than 30 different locations. To further the agency’s mission of cultivating child, family and community well-being, CCRC offers a wide range of programs for children, parents, and child care providers.
