This workshop is designed to equip early childhood education (ECE) providers with essential skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and healthy environment and to comply with licensing requirements.
At this training you will:
– Create clear, written health and safety policies for your program, including what to do when a child is sick and how to handle emergencies
– Learn how to give medication safely using proper parent permission, documentation, and storage.
– Use basic injury-prevention strategies and respond to emergencies (including first aid/CPR if provided in the module)
– Communicate clearly with parents/guardians about health policies, a child’s health, or possible exposure to illnesses.
*Due to funding restrictions this training is only open to Northern Los Angeles County.
