This Mandatory Reporter Training for Child Care Providers is expressly recommended for individuals employed within the confines of a licensed child care facility. It aligns seamlessly with the training requirements stipulated in California Assembly Bill 1207.
*Due to funding restrictions this training is only open to Northern Los Angeles County and attendees MUST speak Mandarin/Chinese fluently in order to attend and receive certification.
At this training, you will gain knowledge on:
– Your responsibilities as a mandated reporter according to the law
– Identifying signs that may indicate possible child abuse or neglect
– Communicating with children regarding suspected abuse
– The process for making a report
– Understanding the subsequent steps after filing a report
– Special considerations related to child abuse reporting for child care providers
Upon successful completion of the 4-hour training, you will be awarded a certificate.
