The mission of GLAD’s Human Services Department is to provide support and to advance the life of deaf and hard of hearing individuals by empowering them with information, training and opportunities. GLAD also provides the following services and resources: Information & Referral, Peer Counseling, Communication Assistance, Independent Living Skills Training, Employment Assistance/Advocacy, Community Education, Interpreter Referral Service – Life Signs, Videophone & Video Relay Service.
