Celebrating Five Years in Victor Valley

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) celebrated their 5th annual Victor Valley Play Day, November 16, 2019. Thanks to enthusiastic volunteers and dedicated staff, CCRC was able to support the health, early education, and well-being for over a thousand local Inland Empire families. The Victor Valley community experienced 40 booths that offered fun learning activities for both children and adults. Families enjoyed the reptile exhibit, story time session, art & science activities, and the make your own slime station!

“We are thankful to everyone who came out to celebrate the joys of play, reading and nutrition. Over the past five years, it has been our goal to highlight community resources to children and families. CCRC appreciates the support from countless community partners and our families could not be happier.” Evelyn Juarez, Community Outreach Supervisor, CCRC.

CCRC is committed to providing children a bright start and firmly believes that a healthy child fosters a healthy community. Therefore, at our community events, each child receives a free age-appropriate book, and each family a bag of free fruits and vegetables. This year at Victor Valley Play Day over a thousand children received free books, and over 5,000 pieces of fruits and vegetables were distributed.
