Language and Literacy Development: Promoting Early Literacy (Module 3)

In Module 3 of this series, developed by Zero to Three, you will:
– Identify the benefits of books, rhymes, songs and other early literacy experiences to young children’s development
– Analyze and practice the teaching skills that promote early literacy in infant-toddler early childhood education settings
– Learn to identify and implement strategies for extending and ensuring the benefits of early literacy experiences to children with limited access to books and children learning multiple languages
