Building Childhood Resiliency: Art in the Trauma Toolbox

In this training participants will:

– Learn how art can help you understand children in your care who are experiencing toxic stress or trauma
– Gain skills to promote trauma-informed use of art materials in your classroom
– Identify red flags, stress and conflict in children’s art and how you can support them when revealed
– Discuss your own fears about dealing with trauma in the classroom
