Register for virtual playgroups to keep your child engaged at home

Though California’s stay-at-home order has been lifted and many in-person activities have resumed, not all families are ready to gather with people outside their home.

Child Care Resource Center’s virtual playgroups are a great option for families who want to engage their children’s minds in the safety and convenience of their own home.

The virtual playgroups are a 10-week-long interactive experience facilitated by CCRC’s Early Care and Education Community Trainers. Through the playgroups, children and their caregivers will engage with other participants while singing songs, reading stories, and participating in interactive activities. Participants will learn skills and resources to help create quality early childhood experiences in their home.

Participants are required to register and commit to attending all sessions. Once you register, an email will be sent to the email address you have provided with details on how to join the group.

Our early childhood experts will plan activities that encourage adult-child interactions throughout the session and beyond.
